Krueger Statistics provides consultation in the areas of financial and monetary macrostatistics. As part of improving statistics, it seeks to engage discussions in and provide a forum for discussion to support the research in and application of improved methodologies for measurement of monetary and financial statistics.
Areas of concentration include:
Monetary and Financial Statistics – Statistics on money, credit, and banking institutions; Sectoral balance sheets and flow of funds; Statistics on nonbank financial institutions. Extensive experience lecturing on these topics.
Monetary Union Statistics and Development of New Monetary Unions. Extensive knowledge on development of statistics for the European Monetary Union and their application to future monetary unions being constructed.
Financial Soundness Indicators – Indicators of the soundness or vulnerabilities of financial systems, including indicators for Islamic Financial Institutions. Extensive experience with Basel Standards for Banking Supervision.
